I've used many suppliers myself over the years, and have come to value a number of organisations that share my view of the world, and have the same pride in and commitment to providing quality of service. These are some of the ones I enjoy working with the most.
I have been working with CHD Partners, a small but very experienced and impactful group of WHS and Risk Management Consultants for over a year now. Their speciality is in Workplace safety training, Money Laundering and anti-Crime assessment and management, Workplace Compliance documentation and training.
Jo Hanlon, Mind Your Ps and CHD Partners have formed a conscious collaboration called H Sq’d, designed to provide exponential value to our joint clients through a variety of ways including via CHD Partner’s online Communication, Induction, Reporting and Training (CIRT) platform.
I have depended on the advice and guidance of Andrew Bland and his team of employment law experts for over 10 years to support me and my clients. Blandslaw are a boutique firm providing employment and commercial law services and are one of the preferred suppliers to the International HR Coach network, used by many of it’s members.
Having a quality and reliable EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) provider is a key service for any business looking to take care of their staff’s mental health and wellbeing.
Acacia Connections is an Australian owned and operated EAP provider, offering a wide range of support services via face to face, phone, email and text, 24 x 7. They have grown rapidly over a number of years due to their flexible, high quality, confidential and practical support.
Led by Rod Evans, Trilogy Professional Group is a boutique Accounting firm based on the Central Coast of NSW. Have a great open relationship with my accountant is a key to having confidence my finances are being looked after in a timely manner, and Rod and some of his team; Jo, Clay and Michael provide a personalised but professional service. They help grow your beans, not just count them, which is fine by me.
Having worked with Barbara and her team at Milestone-Belanova for many years in a variety of ways and types of connections and knowing their commitment to quality and visual creativity, meant they were the logical choice for me to use when it came to redesigning my website. I hope you enjoy it as much as I will.
What is Red Teaming I hear you ask?
Originating by Pope fiftith the 6th in the Vatican in the form of the devil’s advocate to challenge and scrutinise the legitimacy of nominations of people for sainthood, then expanded by the military in the aftermath of the 9/11 attack, the term Red Teaming has developed into a formally recognized and proven set of processes which are designed to be used to question and challenge biases, heuristics and uncover blind spots that we as People, have in all aspects of our lives.
So how can you use this in business?
I have teamed up with a small group of local professionals to form a company called Red Teaming Australia and using a range of contrarian thinking processes and programmes, we plan to bring this way of thinking to businesses in Australia and beyond, to assist business owners and leaders to challenge their strategies in order to have a more robust but more realistic and flexible approach to getting things done in this VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world we now live in.
This process needs an open mind, the willingness to put ego and attachment to long or strongly held opinions and beliefs aside so they can be effectively explored, challenged and questioned to ensure their currency, truth, relevancy in the real world. This process is meant to be done in a respectful and constructive manner, but is likely to take people out of their comfort zones.
Jo has proven herself an excellent and holistic advisor in aiding my personal leadership development as a corporate executive and supporting me as a sounding board in leading my own business. Jo understands the complexity of people and relationships, and exercises this with discretion and compassion, delivered with neither fear nor favour. Due to her wide experience, Jo can be relied upon to connect all the dots, from the factory floor to the c-suite across business and people related situations, I highly recommend her.
